Minecraft creator challenges Bethesda to a Quake tournament to settle trademark dispute
Several months ago or so, Minecraft creator Markus “Notch” Persson revealed that the name of the next game he’s working on will be called “Scrolls”. Seems harmless enough. But not for Bethesda, who is currently suing Notch over the name, saying that it will cause confusion with their Elder Scrolls. It’s silly, but that’s how it goes.
